The ENTJPN 61 was created as part of THE ARCHIVE SERIES, Enterprise Japan’s project dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation of archival footwear. A research-driven exploration in which proportions, materials and visual codes are reimagined through the brand’s distinctive DNA.

Inspired by 1960s running shoes, the silhouette is slim and lightweight, with understated proportions that evoke the aesthetic of classic sportswear. Its clean, functional design expresses an authentic attitude, conceived to transcend time with effortless ease.

The patchwork denim upper is enriched with visible decorative stitching inspired by the traditional Japanese techniques of Boro and Sashiko, reflecting an exploration that brings together craftsmanship, memory and visual culture. The different shades of indigo and contrasting textures add depth to the design, while the tongue’s heritage label recalls the visual language of 1960s collegiate competitions.

The slim sole features an intentionally distressed effect, introducing the passage of time as a design element—a detail that gives the sneaker authenticity and character.
