It is part of THE ARCHIVE SERIES, Enterprise Japan’s new project dedicated to drops developed as research exercises, where structures, materials, and visual codes are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.

References to the mountains and sport are not performance-driven, but cultural. The mountain is understood as a place of stability, silence, and focus: a space where movement slows down and finds balance.

ENTJPN 61 Alpina pays tribute to the Olympic spirit of the Winter Games, translating this imagery into an urban and essential form, where outdoor culture and contemporary design converge in a single direction.
The coordinates 45°27′51”N, 9°10′23”E – 46°32′18”N, 12°08′14”E trace an ideal axis between Milan and Cortina, between city and altitude, between continuous movement and a space for pause.

The slim, lightweight silhouette reinterprets mountain aesthetics through a carefully selected mix of technical materials and functional details: contrast eyelets, lace stoppers, and graphic inserts.

The upper features heat-sealed TPU inserts on the toe, heel, and lower band, designed to provide protection and water resistance. Technical nylon enhances a sense of reliability while preserving lightness and comfort, further emphasized by a warm, enveloping insole and inner lining that evoke the experience of high altitude.
